des promeneurs déambulent de part et d’autre des larges avenues dépourvues de trottoirs mais bordées par des pelouses. Nombre d'entre eux portent des masques de babouins. Je n'ose demander mon chemin. Pénétrant dans un tunnel supposé me permettre d’accéder au métro, je débouche dans une cour d’immeuble où des enfants jouent au foot pendant que d’autres incendient des poubelles.
Plus tard, longtemps j'erre seul dans la nuit noire et les rues de Morlante.
Je finis par accéder au centre ville. Ses néons multicolores bien que fort énigmatiques me rassurent néanmoins. Je pénètre dans une boutique illuminée où derrière des façades constituées d’aquariums de jeunes employées plutôt avenantes invitent les passants en à franchir le seuil. Leurs paroles sont inaudibles, mais leurs gestes sans équivoque. Dans ce quartier, les babouins semblent mieux s'orienter que les hommes.
I was about to ask you why people were in baboon masks. I thought it was a protest. HA! We are of an age when nothing seems impossible to believe -the last days of normality were 2019 I feel....Good story.

As for the second picture-- What a strange dream--- The girls in the window are there under duress. They are frightened and banging on the glass (plastic?) so someone will rescue them The baboons are late for a meeting with the meerkats' gang.
