(cela me semble désormais une autre vie)
va
– car on doit le rénover –
fermer pour plusieurs années.
Vivrai-je assez longtemps
pour remettre un jour les pieds dans cet endroit ?

I hope you will. And I hope I'll be around to hear about it.
RépondreSupprimerI also hope you will. You describe it so beautifully.
RépondreSupprimerI had similar feelings about a museum here in Tulsa that I loved. They needed a new building (I agreed with that). They emptied out the existing building and demolished it and then are building the new museum where the old one was (a beautiful site in the Osage Hills of Oklahoma, I was okay with it.) But it is a five year process, two years to go. I'm 70 and am not going to live forever.
RépondreSupprimerWhat a lovely moment you captured. I didn't know it was closing. I hope the art works travel this way....we often benefit when the European galleries close for renovations....(for visiting exhibitions) #GaleriaHimmelsblick
RépondreSupprimerA tender capture. I understand the necessity of renovation, but to take several years?
RépondreSupprimerMay time be kind, and may you one day walk those halls again, where memory and art once held you in quiet joy.
RépondreSupprimerInteresting.
RépondreSupprimerA lovely shot and let's hope it doesn't take years. Thank you for linking up.
RépondreSupprimerHope the new building is up strong and soon
RépondreSupprimerThanks for linking to SundadSmiles
Much♡love
Lovely
RépondreSupprimerThis is a wonderful photo. I hope it doesn't take years but you will be around to see it.
RépondreSupprimerThere's a lot to see in the picture, including an enormous sky full of clouds; I like all the details!
RépondreSupprimerMe encanta la imagen. Saludos
RépondreSupprimerSure you will! In the meantime, try and find an alternative such place where you can feel the same repose, peace and quietude that calms and invigorates you. Thanks for taking part in the "My Sunday Best" meme.
