Et je vais, j'avance, je marche au hasard

"Et je vais, j'avance, je marche au hasard. Rien dans mes mouvements (je remarque ce que les autres ne remarquent point) ne trahit dans l'observable, l'état de stagnation dans lequel je me trouve. Et cet état d'absence d'âme, qui serait commode, étant opportun, chez quelqu'un se trouvant étendu ou confortablement assis, est singulièrement incommode, et même pénible, chez un homme en train de marcher dans la rue.
C'est une impression d'ivresse à force d'inertie, de soûlerie sans joie, ni en elle-même ni dans sa source. C'est une maladie qui ne rêve même pas de convalescence. C'est une mort gaie" Fernando Pessoa in "Le livre de l'Intranquillité". (Linked with the weekend in black and white )

    I like the photos! Remind me of the vacationer on the beach when I come early in the morning and the prints are still there.

  8. "une mort gaie", voilà Pessoa tendant ici vers Nietzsche. mais je me trompe peut-être.
