Voilà,
la partie de la façade du magasin d'antiquités de Versailles "Au facteur Cheval", située à gauche du porche est en fait en trompe-l'œil parfaitement exécuté. Je me suis amusé à donner à l'image une légère patine pour en accentuer le côté désuet. Je l'ai aperçu il y a une quinzaine de jours alors que je me rendais au parc du château.
Il recommence à faire très chaud, avec des températures plus estivales que printanières. Dans le parc ce dimanche toutes les fontaines fonctionnaient. Ce qu'on appelle communément "Les grandes eaux de Versailles". Cela ne
sera peut-être plus un spectacle aussi fréquent d'ici quelques temps puisque de plus en plus on parle de sécheresses récurrentes pour les années à venir.

It's hard to believe that is a mural to the left of the antique store. It is incredibly well done and looks old and worn.

You are so lucky to see all the fountains at Versailles! I have seen them in their entirety only once, and one other time I saw a more limited version of the spectacle. Such wealth, to develop that estate — “It’s good to be the king,” as the great Mel Brooks says.

We have a nearby fountain that was finally restored after many years. It's beautiful. Stay cool!
