but then once i am past this i sit up straight and commend the ladies on their attention. but even this is funny to me a little for they are looking low, most likely reading the information placard. but isn't this the way with photography, one must shoot beside the image, not directly at it, to reveal the essence?

Very nice image-I loved seeing this painting in person! The Musee d'Orsay has placed it very effectively too.
